Our task was to design and construct a complex enterprise resource planning system, which meets the existing laws and the accounting standards of the financial regulatory authorities, in close cooperation with the experts of our client. The software had to support every major scope of activities, beginning with administration and ending with management.

Implementation

The first step of work was planning processes in detail according to laws and regulations controlling the operation of TISZKs, which was followed by the preparation of specifications and system designs. After proofreading these documents, we prepared the final, detailed design. This was followed by the configuration of database structures and the process of development. Our task was hindered by the several possibilities of interpretation of legislation and its executive orders, thus sometimes the processes of operation and regulation of certain clients of ours were the exact opposite of each other. Our work was hindered further by the electronic accounts required by ESZA Nonprofit Kft. and KIR-STAT, which were changing every year, so we had to rework the method of data submission, as well as the structure of export files. After long months (years) of development the project was closed successfully, and a well-working, general enterprise resource planning system came into being, which could have been localized for the unique requirements of our TISZK clients, using less resources.

Our work was speeded up by our self-developed Viola™ system, which was developed according to our own unique requirements, having the advantage of ensuring developers the possibility of working more efficiently in their own development environment. As the result of development, a unique software came into being, which made software installation possible almost right after the foundation of TISZK.
